How the Transfer Window works
The Transfer Window is a free recruitment board for EA FC 26 Pro Clubs. Players looking for a club post what position they play and when they're online; clubs post the positions they need. What makes it different from a Discord channel is that nobody has to take anybody's word for it — the games played, average rating, win rate and goal contribution on every listing are read from EA's own servers when the listing goes up, and re-read twice a day afterwards.
- How do I find a Pro Clubs team?
- Post a free agent listing with your gamertag, your position and when you play. Clubs browsing the board can filter by position, platform, region and experience, and contact you directly. Listings run for a week and can be renewed in a tap.
- What does the verified badge mean?
- Every stat on a listing is read from EA's own servers rather than typed in by the player. When you post, we look your gamertag up in the club you say you play for — if EA doesn't have you in that squad, the listing doesn't go up. The badge carries the time of the last check, because a record read an hour ago is worth more than one read three weeks ago.
- What do the star ratings mean?
- The stars are a single read on how good a signing a player would be for their position, built from their goal and assist contribution, average match rating, win rate and the supporting stats that matter for the role — clean sheets for a keeper, tackle success for a defender. A player with very few games is rated conservatively, because a handful of matches is not yet evidence.
- Which platforms are supported?
- All of them. PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC share one platform on EA’s side, and PS4, Xbox One and Switch are listed separately. Filter the board by platform to see only players you can actually play with.
- Why do some listings say a player has not played recently?
- The board re-checks every listing against EA twice a day. If a player's games count hasn't moved in five days they're marked as having gone quiet and sorted below the players who are still active — they may well still be looking, but a club deserves to know before spending time on a message.
- What happens when a player signs for a club?
- The re-check spots it. When a listed player leaves the squad they were verified against, the listing closes on its own and the move is recorded in the transfer feed. Players can also confirm a move themselves, which is checked against EA the same way.
