Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Pro Clubs Tracker runs proclubstracker.com, the PCT Discord bot and the PCT app, and is the “controller” of the personal data described here. Contact us at proclubstracker@gmail.com. We are an independent site and not connected to Electronic Arts (EA).

2. What We Collect and Why

Pro Clubs stats (everyone who plays Pro Clubs)

• Club names, gamertags, positions and match stats that EA makes publicly visible. We show them on club and player pages, and work out our own ratings, values and labels from them.
• For clubs with PCT+, we store their matches so they keep their full history.
• Why: our legitimate interest, and the community's, in seeing and analysing Pro Clubs stats. If you don't want your gamertag or stats on our pages, email us and we will remove or hide them wherever we can.

On your device

• Recent searches, favourite clubs, your shortlist and settings such as theme, saved in your browser.
• These stay on your device unless you sign in. Clearing your browser data removes them.

If you sign in (Discord, or Apple in our app)

• Your Discord or Apple user ID and display name, plus the clubs and searches you save.
• Two sign-in cookies, pct_session and pct_has_session, and a short-lived one during sign-in. They are strictly necessary and are not used for tracking.
• If you leave “Also join the PCT Discord” ticked, we use Discord's permission once to add you to our server. We don't keep that permission.
• Why: to provide the account you asked for (contract).

If you post on the Transfer Window

• What you enter, such as gamertag, position, platform, region, availability and what you're looking for, and the Discord handle you want people to contact you on. It is linked to your account.
• Listings are public, apart from the Discord handle, which is shown one listing at a time to people who ask for it. Listings expire automatically.
• Why: to publish the listing you asked us to publish (contract).

If you buy PCT+

• You pay on Stripe's own checkout page. Stripe holds your name, email, billing details and card. We never see your card.
• We store which club has PCT+, its status and dates, and Stripe's references for the customer and subscription.
• If you use “Get the PCT+ Discord role”, we ask Discord for your verified email once, check it against the email on the Stripe payment, and then discard it. We keep a record of which Discord accounts were given the role, so it can be removed when PCT+ ends.
• Why: to provide what you paid for (contract), and to keep records the law requires, such as tax records.

If you use the PCT Discord bot

• Server and channel IDs, the clubs a server is linked to, and the Discord user IDs of people who run /claim.
• Anything you send through /feedback, with your Discord username. It is posted to the PCT team's Discord.
• Why: to run the bot features you use (contract).

When you contact us

• Your email address or Discord username, and what you tell us, so we can reply.

Technical data

• Your IP address is used briefly to limit abuse, such as too many requests, and appears in our host's short-term logs. Why: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.

3. Analytics, Ads and Cookies

• Vercel Speed Insights: cookieless, anonymised page performance.
• Google Analytics: pages visited, how you arrived, device, approximate location, and on the PCT+ page the steps towards buying, including Stripe's reference for a completed purchase. It never receives your name, email or card. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland it sets no cookies (_ga, _ga_*) unless you agree in the consent banner.
• Venatus Media (advertising): Venatus and its partners use cookies and advertising identifiers to show, cap and personalise ads. Where the law requires consent, they ask for it through Venatus's consent banner, and your choice is passed to every ad partner. See the Venatus privacy policy, our ads.txt and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Why: your consent, where the law requires it (UK and EU), otherwise our legitimate interest in understanding use and funding the free site. You can change your choice in the consent banner at any time, or use Google Ads Settings, YourOnlineChoices, DAA or Google's Analytics opt-out.

4. Who We Share It With

We use these providers to run the site. They handle data for us, or for their own part of the service under their own policies:

• Vercel for hosting, logs and analytics, and Upstash and Neon for our databases
• Stripe for payments (privacy policy)
• Discord and Apple for sign-in, and Discord for the bot
• Google for analytics, and Venatus Media and its partners for ads
• Twitch, whose player is embedded for match replays
• EA: we send EA the club names and IDs you search for, to fetch stats. We don't send EA anything about you.

Some of these providers are in the US. Where your data leaves the UK or EEA, it is protected by the safeguards the law requires, such as the UK–US data bridge or standard contractual clauses. We don't sell your personal data. We will share it if the law requires us to.

5. How Long We Keep It

• Account data: until you delete your account from the account menu, which removes it straight away.
• Transfer Window listings: until they expire or you remove them.
• PCT+ records and stored matches: while the club has PCT+, and afterwards so that history comes back if the club subscribes again. A club can ask us to delete them.
• Payment and tax records: as long as the law requires, usually six years.
• Analytics and ad data: by Google's and Venatus's own retention settings.

6. Your Rights (UK GDPR and EU GDPR)

You can ask us for a copy of your data. You can also ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it elsewhere. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email proclubstracker@gmail.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.

7. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

You can ask to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. We don't sell it, but ads personalised by Venatus and its partners may count as “sharing”. To opt out, decline personalised ads in the consent banner, use the opt-out links above, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honour through our ad partner.

8. Children

You must be at least 13 to sign in, post a listing or use the Discord bot, as Discord requires. We don't knowingly collect data from younger children. If you think a child under 13 has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. If a change matters, we will say so on the site.
