Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Pro Clubs Tracker is an independent, non-profit fan project created for entertainment purposes. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Electronic Arts Inc. (EA), EA Sports, or EA Sports FC in any way.

2. What We Collect

Data stored on your device:

• Your recent club searches, saved in your browser's localStorage for convenience.
• Your theme preference (light/dark) and similar UI settings.

This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.

Data collected automatically by third parties:

• Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights: anonymised page views, performance metrics, and your IP address (used for country-level geographic aggregation, not stored against you).
• Google AdSense: cookies and advertising identifiers used to serve and personalise ads, subject to your consent where required by law.

Data we don't collect:

• Email addresses, names, or passwords (we don't offer accounts).
• Payment details (we don't process payments on-site).
• Precise location data — only country-level signals from analytics.
• First-party tracking cookies set by us.

3. How We Use Information

We use the data described above to:

• Render the club and player stats you searched for.
• Understand which pages are popular so we can improve them.
• Serve advertisements that fund this free service.

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We share limited data with the following providers in order to run the site:

• Vercel (hosting and analytics): request data and anonymised analytics events.
• Google AdSense: page context, cookies, and advertising identifiers. See Google's "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" for details.
• EA: we send your search term to EA's public Pro Clubs endpoints to fetch game data. No personal data is sent.
• Buy Me a Coffee: only relevant if you click the donate button, at which point you leave our site and their privacy policy applies.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Cookies

We do not set first-party tracking cookies. Third-party cookies may be set by Google AdSense to personalise advertising. You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising using any of the following:

6. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the UK or the EEA, you have rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, and port your personal data. Because we do not store personal data on our own servers, most of these rights are not directly actionable against us. You can, however, exercise them with our processors (Google, Vercel) using their own tools and privacy controls.

The most practical way to limit data collection during your visit is to use the ad opt-out links in section 5. If you'd like to contact us directly with a privacy question, email hello@proclubstracker.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

7. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information are collected about you, the right to delete that information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Under CPRA, cross-context behavioural advertising counts as "sharing", and our use of Google AdSense may fall within that definition.

To opt out, use the Google Ads Settings link in section 5, or enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We honour GPC signals where technically feasible through our ad partner.

8. Children's Privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13 (US) or under 16 (EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us at hello@proclubstracker.com and we will delete it.

9. Data Retention

Local data stored in your browser remains there until you clear it. Analytics data is retained according to Vercel's retention policy. Ad-related data is retained according to Google's retention policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
